Practical Glamour Jewellery
Practical Glamour by Kathryn is a regular to our market
As a sole trader business, registered as a business in the Australian Capital Territory, I am a self-taught designer/maker of individual pieces of costume jewellery.
My range is designed to suit the pocket and style of the average woman – whoever she may be! – and it’s all about the bling, not about taking life too seriously.
The concept of “bling” – in my world at least – is anything shiny, sparkly, colourful, pretty.
There are several kinds:
- “real bling” – like grandma’s pearls
- “serious bling” – salad jewels (you know – that have carats!)
- “party bling” – tiaras and things that don’t do well in daylight
Other stuff can also be “blingy” – non-jewellery items that sparkle, like the “sparkle pager” in Grey’s Anatomy.
Your interest in my work is really appreciated, and I would be very happy to answer any questions about my business that you may have.
