Veruca Star Designs is the product of my life-long obsession with art and all things creative. I have always had a particular passion for gemstones and jewellery, and have been channelling my artistic impulses into handcrafting my own designs, all made with love and attention to detail.
I specialise in creating individual pieces to reflect the personality of the wearer, and can modify a design to be a different colour or gemstone, or an alternate size to suit your requirements. If you have something particular in mind, I would be more than happy to create a custom piece at no obligation.
I am a regular at the Canberra Southside Market and am looking forward to the Spring Fair Saturday September 11, between 10am – 2pm. My stall is located inside within the main Scout Hall please drop by and say hi.

Jennine first got into making aromatherapy based products after venturing in and out of many Health Food Stores and not finding what she wanted so would buy a variety of different oils and base products and mix to create her own blend.
She would also write down the ingredients found in many so called ‘natural’ or ‘aromatherapy’ products and research them to find out what was actually in the product – this is when Jennine realised people were not getting what they bargained for. She found many of the products contained chemicals and alcohols that dry out the skin or cause skin rashes.
This is when Jennine decided to do something about it & create my her range. It started just for personal use, then for family and friends but she kept getting orders for more so Avalon Essences was created.
All of Avalon Essences products are derived from plants, antioxidants, herbs, fragranced oils and essential oils for their therapeutic values; and do not contain harmful ingredients.
Avalon Essences is Australian owned and operated. The unique aromatherapy products are hand-made fresh in small batches without harmful chemicals, animal derivatives, harsh detergents or petroleum by-products.
